By Presidential decree in 1962, Bank Indonesia was prohibited from publishing an annual report discussing the state of the Indonesian economy. By decree the bank was renamed Bank Negara Indonesia Unit 1 in 1965. Following a change of President and government in 1967, this bank was allowed to publish a report covering the five years 1961-1965. It surveys the state of the Indonesian economy, using a variety of economic statistics, before discussing on financial and monetary developments, and the financial state of the bank itself.
